Is this a musical drama? Or is there no singing?
This is an original drama based on the popular novel.
Are there make-up auditions? I really want to audition, but I have something important that day.
Unfortunately, that is our only audition date. However, you can sent your interest in being in the show to jdewitt@lifehousetheater.com and perhaps something can be worked out.
So is there singing in this production? Or does drama mean there are no songs?
A drama has no songs in it.
What ages is this show open to?
While we allow children ages 3 and up to attend our productions, the heavy subject matter may require parental guidance. I would recommend ages 10 and older for this production, but it may differ with each family.
I noticed on the character list that a few characters from both the book and musical were missing (i.e. eponine, enjolras, grantaire, other men of the les amis). i understand its an original drama, but will these characters be included in any way ? if so, what age range would you like them to be?
We cast age appropriate. Character list I believe is everyone in the production.
When do rehearsals begin for this? Any specific days or times in particular?
Rehearsals begin June 25 and are generally Tuesday – Thursday from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. Final two weeks are Monday – Friday.
